The Story Of This Dress: Blue polka dot shorts

OLA FROM BORA!!! I got this blue polka dot shorts (i know, parang skirt!) at an ukay-ukay store in quiapo... for P50 only! The first idea I had in mind about the piece was to pair it with a plain white top and a cute pair of red maryjanes. Maybe I'll do that in Manila!

I got  this dress form ukay-ukay when I went shopping with my twin/blogging partner Nyko at Anonas and Kamuning. Less than P100, as I remember. 

Why I like it: I love the color, it's like a dark bluish gray kind. I think the dress is kinda pa-tough when you look at it, parang boyish but in reality it kinda is pa-sexy also. When I sit down it's really short, also the buttons are alanganin for me, I think 1 button down is not enough but when I unbutton 1 more it'll be too revealing, and when I put my arms on my waist, the space between the 2nd and third button reveals my pretty cleavage and bra. So, you know, it may look tomboy-ish but it really makes me act more demure and dainty :)

The Story Of This Dress: Bess & Billy

I bought this dress in landmark about a year ago when I went to Trinoma with my friends. If I'm not mistaken, we watched a movie that day and when we went to the bathroom after the film, I saw this huge period stain on my pants! Good thing I was wearing a big shirt that can hide the stain, but I felt so uncomfortable walking around with it. I had to look for a cheap dress or shorts pa because Sam and I had plans to go to Cubao X that night. Buti nalang there's Landmark in Trinoma, lots of cute clothes for a kuripot shopper like me!

I like this dress because aside from its very cheap price (it was around P150-250), its print was pretty funny and weird, and it suits my bipolar personality! I love spending cash on cheap things, lalo na on cheap clothes, kasi it's all about how you carry it inday! :)
